This Privacy Policy explains how Big Draw Golf Club, LLC ("Big Draw," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.bigdraw.com, create an account, purchase from us, subscribe to a Membership, enter a sweepstakes or promotion (a "Promotion"), interact with us on social media, or otherwise engage with our services (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use and our Official Sweepstakes Rules.
If you win a prize, we collect more information about you than we do about ordinary customers — including your Social Security number or taxpayer identification number, a copy of your government-issued identification, and in some cases background-check results. Section 3.5 explains why and what we do with it.
1. Quick Summary
|
Who we are |
A golf lifestyle brand that sells merchandise, one-time packages, and memberships, and runs sweepstakes with golf-related prizes. |

2. Who This Policy Covers
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older who reside in the United States and Canada, excluding Quebec. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Services, and no one under 18 may hold an account or enter a Promotion.
If you believe a minor has otherwise provided us information, contact privacy@bigdraw.com and we will delete it.
If you are a resident of a country outside the permitted jurisdictions, please do not use the Services. Information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Give Us
-
Account information: name, email address, password, mailing address, phone number, date of birth.
-
Order and Membership information: items purchased, order history, Membership tier and status, billing address, shipping address. Payment card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processors we receive only a token, the card brand, and the last four digits. We do not store full card numbers.
-
Entry activity: which Promotions you entered, how many entries you hold, and how each entry was obtained (Membership, package, merchandise, free mail-in, or other free method).
-
Free mail-in entries: the name, address, date of birth, email address, and handwritten declaration you send us on a mail-in entry card.
-
Communications: emails, chat messages, support tickets, call recordings (where we tell you a call is recorded), survey responses, and reviews.
-
User content: photos, videos, comments, testimonials, and social media posts you submit or tag us in.

3.2 Information We Collect Automatically
-
Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language, and referring URLs.
-
Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, entry actions, search terms, and session recordings or heatmaps where enabled.
-
Approximate location derived from IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation unless you affirmatively enable it.
-
Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
3.3 Information From Third Parties
-
Payment processors and fraud services: transaction outcomes, chargeback notices, and fraud risk signals.
-
Shipping carriers: delivery status and address corrections.
-
Advertising and analytics partners: audience and campaign measurement data.
-
Social media platforms: your public profile and interactions when you engage with our accounts or use a social login.
3.4 Sensitive Information
We collect the following sensitive personal information, and only for the purposes stated:
-
Account credentials — to secure your account.
-
Precise geolocation — only if you enable it, and only to provide a feature you requested.
-
Social Security number or taxpayer identification number — from winners only, on IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN, solely for tax reporting and withholding. See Section 3.5.
-
Government-issued identification — from winners only, solely to verify identity, age, and residency before a prize is awarded. See Section 3.5.
We also collect date of birth to verify you meet the minimum age for the Services and for a Promotion. Under California law, age is a characteristic of a protected classification rather than sensitive personal information; we describe it here because we treat it with the same care.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under applicable law, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
3.5 Additional Information We Collect From Winners
If you are selected as a potential winner, applicable law and our own risk controls require us to collect more than we collect from other customers:
-
Social Security number or taxpayer identification number, collected on IRS Form W-9 (or Form W-8BEN for non-U.S. persons). We are legally required to report prize values to the IRS on Form 1099 and, in some cases, to withhold tax.
-
A copy of government-issued photo identification, and proof of age and residency.
-
Signed affidavits and releases, including the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release.
-
Verification and screening results, which for certain prizes may include a background check and identity or anti-money-laundering ("KYC/AML") screening performed by a third-party provider.
-
Payment details needed to deliver a cash prize, and, for vehicle prizes, driver's license and insurance information required by the delivering dealer.
How we handle it. This information is used only to verify eligibility, award and deliver the prize, meet tax and reporting obligations, and prevent fraud. Access is restricted to the small number of personnel who administer prize fulfillment. Tax identification numbers and identity documents are encrypted at rest, are never used for marketing, and are never sold or shared for advertising. Retention differs by record type: tax records (Form W-9/W-8BEN, Form 1099, prize value) are kept seven (7) years as tax law requires; identity documents and KYC/background results are kept five (5) years and then deleted. See the schedule in Section 9. If you decline to provide this information, we cannot award you a prize.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
-
Create and administer your account and Membership, including recurring billing.
-
Process, fulfill, and ship orders, and provide customer support.
-
Issue, track, and count entries, and administer Promotions.
-
Conduct drawings; notify, verify, screen, and pay winners; and deliver prizes.
-
Comply with tax, reporting, sweepstakes registration, sanctions, and other legal obligations.
-
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, multiple-account abuse, bot entry, chargeback abuse, and other violations of our www.bigdraw.com/pages/terms and www.bigdraw.com/pages/sweeps
-
Send transactional messages about your orders, Membership, entries, and prizes.
-
Send marketing communications, subject to your choices in Section 7.
-
Publicize winners as described in the Publicity Release, where permitted by law.
-
Personalize the Services, measure and improve them, and conduct analytics.
-
Advertise, including targeted and retargeted advertising, subject to your choices in Section 8.
-
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your personal information to train or develop machine learning or artificial intelligence models — our own or anyone else's — and we do not permit our vendors to do so with information we provide them.
5. When We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information in these circumstances:
|
Recipient |
What they receive and why |
|---|---|
|

|
Prize suppliers and fulfillment partners |
Winner name, contact and delivery details needed to deliver a prize (for example, a vehicle dealer, resort, or equipment manufacturer). |
|
Promotional partners and co-sponsors |
Where a Promotion is co-sponsored, the co-sponsor is identified in that Promotion's Specific Rules and may receive entrant information as described there. |
|
Tax and government authorities |
Prize values and taxpayer identification information as required by law. |
|
Advertising and analytics partners |
Identifiers, device data, and usage data through cookies and pixels. This may be a "sale" or "sharing" under state law — see Section 8. |
|
The public |
Winner first name, last initial, and city and state, on our winners page and in marketing, and, for winners who sign the Publicity Release, the additional information described there. |
|
Legal and safety |
Where we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or the public. |
|
Corporate transactions |
An acquirer, successor, or lender in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, including in bankruptcy. |
We do not disclose your Social Security number, taxpayer identification number, or identity documents to advertising or marketing recipients under any circumstances.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences and cart, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising.
Categories we use: strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising/targeting.
Your controls:
-
Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Services.
-
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a GPC signal received from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser.
-
Industry opt-outs — the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
Do Not Track. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting browser "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do honor GPC as described above.
7. Marketing Communications
Email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email privacy@bigdraw.com.
Text messages. If you opt in to texts, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. See our www.bigdraw.com/pages/sms. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase or of entering any Promotion.
Mail. To stop postal marketing, contact privacy@bigdraw.com
Transactional messages. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send email and postal messages about your orders, Membership, billing, entries, prizes, and material changes to our terms. You cannot opt out of those while you have an active account, because they concern money and prizes that belong to you. Text messages are different: replying STOP, STOP stops all texts (marketing and transactional); one confirmation message may be sent; winner notification then goes by email and phone. Opting out may take up to ten (10) business days to take effect for email and postal mail.
8. Your Privacy Rights
8.1 Rights Available to You
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Deleting your account or your entry history will forfeit your entries and may disqualify you from a pending Promotion. We will tell you before we act on such a request.
